On August the 8th, the day before my birthday, My friend Rebeckah left for her new adventure- college! I was so sad to see her go, but I knew that though we may be seperate physically we are never mentally! We facetimed, called, and texted regularly, but I remained eager to see her and hear her in person. The time for our reunion came sooner than expected; thanks to her Fall break. We decided to hang out for majority of the day, Friday morning. So I sat my alarm for 5:45 a.m. so we could get an early start to a wonderful day!

We made it a tad bit too late due to my wonderful time management skills and my forgetfulness. BUT the view was still marvelous!

Of course, eventually it turned into a photo/ video shoot for the both of us. ( The sun was glorious)

Later, we walked around the area and found a cool church.

Then a police station located in an old church!

After leaving downtown, we went hit up Walmart to buy some baking goods and I stumbled upon gelato! I did not know Walmart sold GELATO... you learn something new everyday.

We baked, watched TV, babysat, and took a nap and later went to a youth event were I had the honor of speaking! The day was marvelous, fun, and enjoyable- it always is when I am with Rebeckah.

She left a couple of days later and I was sad but I remembered this quote by my favorite bear of all time... Winnie the Pooh:

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
